Terms of Use

Important: By downloading, installing, or using the CarAI mobile application (the "Application"), developed by Pinak Faldu ("Service Provider"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. App Overview

CarAI helps you modify and restyle car photos using AI-powered features, including template-based transformations, background changes, visual enhancements, and image compositing. The Application offers free functionality with optional premium subscriptions.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Available Subscriptions

CarAI Premium provides auto-renewable plans. Current pricing is displayed in-app and may vary by storefront:

  • Weekly subscription: $4.99 per week (20 coins)
  • Monthly subscription: $19.99 per month (100 coins)
  • Annual subscription: $149.99 per year (1500 coins)

Each coin allows the generation of one AI-powered car image.
Local taxes or currency conversions may affect final pricing on your device.

2.2 Subscription Features

  • Coin-based AI car image generation
  • Access to all car templates and styles
  • High-quality image downloads
  • No watermarks on generated images
  • Faster processing and priority access
  • Early access to new templates and features
  • Premium customer support

2.3 Auto-Renewal Terms

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your storefront account is charged within 24 hours prior to renewal
  • Weekly plans renew every 7 days, monthly plans every 30 days, and annual plans every 365 days
  • You can manage or cancel auto-renewal through your device account settings

3. Payment and Billing

3.1 Payment Processing

Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Charges are applied to your storefront account upon purchase confirmation. Once authorized, the storefront manages auto-renewal billing directly. The Service Provider cannot modify or stop these transactions on your behalf.

3.2 Price Changes

The Service Provider may adjust subscription pricing from time to time. Any changes apply at the next renewal cycle, and the storefront will notify you in advance when required.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

For iOS users:

  • Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions
  • Select CarAI → tap "Cancel Subscription"

For Android users:

  • Open Google Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions
  • Select CarAI → tap "Cancel Subscription"

4.2 Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • You retain premium access and remaining coins until expiration
  • No refunds or credits for partial periods
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refund requests must be submitted through the store that processed the payment:

  • iOS: Apple’s “Report a Problem” portal
  • Android: Google Play support

6. Free Trial (if applicable)

If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the listed rate unless cancelled before the trial ends. Trials are limited to one per Apple ID or Google account.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account and payment information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your device and account credentials
  • Refrain from sharing premium access or exploiting the coin system
  • Not reverse engineer, abuse, or misuse the Application
  • Use AI image features ethically and lawfully
  • Respect copyright and obtain consent for images featuring others
  • Avoid uploading harmful, deceptive, or illegal content

8. AI Image Processing & Content Disclaimer

CarAI processes your uploaded images to deliver the requested transformations. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including compliance with applicable laws, platform rules, and privacy or publicity rights.

9. Image and Content Responsibility

  • You retain ownership of original and generated images
  • Generated images are stored locally on your device by default
  • We do not monitor all user uploads
  • You control what content is shared or exported
  • Do not create misleading, deceptive, or abusive AI-generated content

10. Camera and Photo Access

The Application requests camera and gallery permissions solely to capture, import, and save images. No media is processed without your explicit action. Permissions can be revoked at any time via device settings.

11. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your uploaded and generated content. The Service Provider owns all intellectual property rights in the Application, including software, design, and branding. You may not copy, decompile, or create derivative works from the Application.

12. Responsible AI & Deepfake Policy

You may not use CarAI to generate deceptive or harmful deepfakes, impersonations, or misleading content. Violations may result in suspension, termination, or reporting to appropriate authorities.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Application is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle AI processing data, limited telemetry, subscriptions, and user communications.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Application at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the service. Upon termination, you must discontinue use and uninstall the Application.

15. Updates to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Changes become effective once posted in the Application or on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Limitation of Liability

CarAI and the Service Provider are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Application, including AI inaccuracies, downtime, or loss of data.

17. Technical Support

Support covers Application functionality, AI processing issues, purchase restoration, and billing inquiries. It does not include creative consulting or custom design services.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
